How does the AI trip planner actually work?
Tell it where you're going, for how long, your budget level, travel style, and who you're going with. It returns a structured day-by-day itinerary — morning, afternoon, and evening slots with real places, and a map and weather forecast alongside. You can then refine any single day without regenerating the whole trip.
Which AI model powers the itineraries?
GPT-4o on paid plans and GPT-4o-mini on Free. The admin panel can switch the whole platform to Google Gemini 1.5 Pro at any time without a code change or redeploy.
Which currencies can I see prices in?
Prices display in any currency the site admin has enabled — USD, EUR, GBP, and JPY ship by default — and your choice is remembered. Note that prices are stored in USD and checkout is charged in USD; other currencies are a display conversion, so your bank may apply its own rate.
What happens if I need to cancel?
It depends on the policy the provider set, shown on every tour page before you book. Flexible: full refund up to 24 hours before. Moderate: full refund up to 5 days before, 50% up to 24 hours before. Strict: 50% refund up to 7 days before, nothing inside 7 days.
What commission does Trovo take?
15% of each booking by default. The rate is set per provider, so the platform owner can negotiate a different one with you — check your provider dashboard for the rate on your account.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are released 7 days after the trip is completed, which covers the cancellation and dispute window. If the platform has Stripe Connect enabled, you connect a payout account once and released payouts transfer to your bank automatically; otherwise the platform owner settles with you directly.
Is this a SaaS I subscribe to, or a codebase I deploy?
Both. The hosted version is a normal SaaS — sign up and use it. The full source is also sold on CodeCanyon; deploy it yourself to Vercel plus a Postgres database in well under an hour.
Is the codebase production-ready?
TypeScript strict with no `any`, Zod validation on every API route, AI keys encrypted at rest, signature-verified Stripe and PayPal webhooks, per-user rate limits, and every query scoped by user. Lint, the test suite, and a production build all pass clean.
What isn't included?
Flight and hotel booking APIs (Amadeus, Booking.com), live chat with typing indicators and presence — asynchronous messaging is included, but it isn't a realtime chat product — native mobile apps, and offline/PWA support. Payouts also stay a deliberate manual release rather than firing on a schedule.
