Is this a SaaS I subscribe to, or a codebase I deploy?
Both. The hosted version at trovo.app is a normal SaaS — sign up and use it. The full source is also sold on CodeCanyon, deploy it yourself to Vercel + Neon in under 15 minutes.
Which AI model powers the itineraries?
By default, GPT-4o (with GPT-4o-mini on the Free tier). The admin panel can switch to Google Gemini 1.5 Pro at any time without code changes.
Do you take a commission on tour bookings?
Out of the box, no — providers receive 100% of the booking and the platform owner handles payouts manually via Stripe. Commission logic is wired into the admin panel and can be enabled per-provider.
Can travelers pay in their local currency?
Yes. Trovo supports USD / EUR / GBP / JPY with auto-detection from the visitor's locale. Stripe charges in the selected currency.
Is the codebase production-ready?
TypeScript strict, Zod validation on every API route, encrypted AI keys at rest, signed Stripe webhooks, per-user rate limits, and no any/console.log/dead code. Lint and build pass with zero warnings.
What's NOT included in v1.0?
Flight & hotel booking APIs (Amadeus, Booking.com), Stripe Connect for instant payouts, real-time chat, native mobile apps, and PWA/offline support. These are on the v2 roadmap.
